B i o g r a p h y
MARINA LAZAR is a Dutch pianist, born in 's-Hertogenbosch in 1994. Her family has roots in different European countries, and she has lived, studied, taught and performed in several.
Marina is a successful chamber musician and is active in different smaller and bigger ensembles. She is also a sought-after accompanist for recitals and competitions.
Currently she is teaching piano in Eindhoven, at RICK in Weert and at De Lindenberg in Nijmegen. Also she is writing and performing her own pieces.
She completed her Master's degree in classical piano with the highest mark at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, DK, with professor Niklas Sivelöv.
During these studies she was accepted for a year on Erasmus at HAMU Academy of Music in Prague, CZ, with professor Frantíšek Malý.
Earlier she studied with Erik Rentzhog in Sweden and Frank Peters in the Netherlands.
